What Factors Affect Healthy Vision? (written for Bad Vision)

The sad fact of the matter is that we tend to take advantage of our gift of sight. Like many privileges, we do not know how lucky we are to have something until we lose it. As we live our lives with the gift of sight, we rarely stop to think about how life would drastically change if our vision quality decreased or we lost sight completely. With a world of vision problems to choose from, there is bound to be thousands of different solutions or measures that one could take in order to improve their individual issue. However, despite your specific needs and issue, I is safe to say that everyone who suffers from an ailment, would want the most permanent solution available.

If you wear glasses you can vouch for how many pairs of glasses and different prescriptions you have had since your very first pair. This is due to the fact that corrective lenses are not a permanent fix. They actually do not fix anything but rather temporary adjust your vision when you wear them to improve the perceptions your eyes create. The longer you wear the corrective lenses, the more dependent you become on them and the less your eyes work themselves. Each day that you wear these lenses, they are damaging your eyes, in addition to the daily stress and environmental factors which can also damage your eyes. If you want your eyes to function they way they were naturally intended to than it only makes sense to use more natural methods.

If you take a look in your medicine cabinet, you probably already have some remedies lurking. Aloe Vera is a great source to use to get the moisture back into the areas around your eyes. His will relieve the tension on the skin which can add stress around the eyes. The same goes for coconut oil. Remember, not all stress on the eyes is caused by the vision itself. The skin around your eyes is the thinnest skin on your body and thus more sensitive and vulnerable to damage. Stress is the first thing you want to eliminate or reduce. Change your diet. Add more fruits and vegetables to your daily intake if you prefer not to use Vitamin A, C, D and E supplements in their pill form.

Focusing a bi more on your breathing techniques may also help you to relax and reset your eyes. Not many people realize that they unintentionally focus on a certain object when they inhale and exhale deeply. I do not mean when you breathe regularly, I mean in times where you need to catch your breathe or refocus. Take it a step further and intentionally focus on an object that is far away. Inhale and exhale in deep motions and relax yourself, and your eyes. Once you learn to incorporate all of these methods and a few of your own, you'll start to notice that your vision becomes clearer, you may remember a bit more detail, and your vision is less strained.
